Major transitions and times of healing and transformation often call for the intention of a ritual or ceremony to support you.
These ceremonies exist in many cultures and regions around the world, carrying deep ancestral roots and meaning. Yet in the United States, they are often less accessible, sometimes requiring intentional seeking, or the gathering of supportive community to hold and bear witness to what you are moving through.
I understand the importance of these practices in marking life’s thresholds: moments of transition, grief, healing, and the quiet and sometimes urgent invitations to go deeper into a portal of transformation. Ceremony can offer shape and tangibility when things feel formless, and grounding in our own (or the cosmic) ocean when life feels full of waves of uncertainty.
Ceremonies generally include three main parts: The Departure, Liminal Space, and The Return. Each part is only possible with the others and each equally important. We will depart from your normal, daily life, with your current intentions, into the unknown realm of the Liminal Space, where new insight and awareness is possible. Finally, we will gently return home, to a soft landing place where we will work together as you begin to integrate the new insights gained.
Let’s co-create a ceremony together. One that is uniquely yours, attuned to this moment in your life, and held with care, presence, and reverence. One that is witnessed with compassion and kindness. One that evolves you into your next phase of being.
